Management Committee The monthly meeting of the Boys’ Institute Management Committee held this week was presided over by Mr. W. A. Parton. The director’s report on the various activities made mention of the aeroplane flight recently given to three gymnasium boys who won a chest-growth contest, increasing their chest measurements by 4}. 4, and 3i inches respectively. Satisfaction was expressed with the success of the institute' footballers during the season. It was decided to send a letter of appreciation to the T. G. Macarthy Trustees of their action in increasing their allocation by £2O for the benefit of unemployed boys. Mr. W. A. Parton was unanimously elected chairman of the committee for the ensuing year, and sub-committees to deal with .the institute’s various activities were also elected.
