Dr. Barnardo’s Homes
A delightful “box opening” gathering was held recently at the home of Mrs. Pack, the new president of the Roseneath Habitation of Dr. Barnardo Helpers. After tea speeches were made by the headmaster of the Roseneath School, Mr. E. C. Fcltlmm, 8.A., and Miss Ashford, the Dominion secretary. Tlie Roseneath secretary, Miss Roughton. handed in £7/2/5, which had been collected from the boxes. A silver knife was awarded to Stan Painter and silver badges to Gladys Broughton, Joy Neale, Francois de Mauny and Antic Walker.
