AUSTRALIAN TRAGEDY
•y/ . y ’♦ Man and Woman Found Dead (Received. July 20, 11.15 p.m.) Sydney, July 20. Henry Maxwell Foreman, aged 30, of Coralbhingie Station, Trangie, and Miss Jean Carmen, aged 21, who was librarian at the Trangie School of Arts, were found dead this afternoon beside a motor-car on a road eight miles from Warren. Miss Carman was shot, through the forehead, and Foreman had three bullet wounds in his chest. A yifle was found nearby. Both were very well known in the district, and were seen at polo games at Trangie on Wednesday, but disappeared from the grounds and were not seen alive again. > According to the police, who suspect murder amrsuicide, Foreman borrowed a rifle from a relative last Friday, and it is thought that this was the weapon found.
