Maheno Starting Earlier
In order to arrive in time for the Melbourne Cup, the Union Company Ims advanced the Maheno's first sailing date in the new Melbourne passenger service by a week. The vessel will now leave Port Chalmers on October 30 and Bluff the following day. reaching Melbourne on November 4. instead of leaving Port Chalmers on November 6 and reaching Melbourne on November 11. No other sailing dates are affected by this altera 11 on.
The Maheno will spend an extra week at .Melbourne, leaving there on her first trip on November 15 as originally intended.
