TEMPERANCE UNION
The monthly meeting of the Island Bay young people’s branch of the Women’s Christian Temperance Union was held on Tuesday evening last, when Mr. lan Milner presided over a very fair attendance. After devotions, Mrs. Brown, the superintendent of tlie branch, gave an interesting talk on “Alarm Clocks.” At the close of the meeting, all members stood and repeated their pledge of total abstinence.
