Gratitude To Radio

Sir,—Having just recovered from a serious illhess, I feel I must pay a tribute to radio for the part it has played in bringing me back to normality again. Through nine pain-wracked weeks radio has been my salvation, and I am truly grateful.

To those responsible for the compilation of the programmes, I have nothing but praise. It has made me realise what a potent factor broadcasting is in our lives, and the unostentatious way our education is being increased by it* means.—l am, etc.. GRATEFUL. Island Bay, May 7.
