CAUGHT BY STORM

Fishing Boats in Danger (British Official Wireless.) (Received May 8, 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, May 7. During a storm over the week-end, a heavy gust of wind of 87 miles an hour was registered at Valencia. Ireland, and winds of gale force were general throughout the British Isles. During the height of the storm yesterday it was found necessary to pour oil on the broken waters of Bridlington Harbour to enable motor fishing boats, caught by the heavy seas, to make harbour safely.
