Ross, of Pahiatua. is on a tour of the North Island. Mr. and Mrs. J. Alien. Wanganui, are holidaying at Taupo. Mrs. A. G. Pallet and Miss Pallet, Napier, are on a visit to Wellington. Mrs. M. MacLeod, of Taonui. is visiting Wellington and Foxton. Mrs. S. T. Bristow, Palmerston North, is the guest of Mrs. A. H. Cockayne, Northland. Miss L. C. Kohn, Thorndon Hospital is the guest of Mrs. I. Airfield, Gisborne. Miss Una Platts, Auckland, is the guest of her aunt, Mrs. Galbraith, Newman Terrace. Mrs. W. H. Saunders, of Masterton, . with her two children, is visiting WeUington. Mrs J Payne. Auckland, is visiting Mr. and Mrs. J. D. C. Crewe at Pahiatua. z Mr. and Mrs. G. Fear have returned to Wanganui from a holiday in Auckland. Mrs. E. J. Stanifortb, Masterton, who has been spending a holiday at Paraparaumu, has returned home. Miss Samson, Everton Terrace, will leave this evening for Auckland to catch the Rangitata for England. Miss A. Hall, Christchurch, is visiting Wellington to attend a conference of technical college teachers. Mrs. H. A. Beauchamp, Kelburn, with her daughter Pamela, left . last evening by the Limited for a visit to Auckland. Mrs. V. Barker, who has been Mrs. W. Izard’s and Mrs. Nowell Izard’s guest in Wanganui, leaves for Wellington on Thursday. Miss Barnicoat, who has been the guest of Dr. A. H. E. Wall and Mrs. Wall, in Wanganui, has returned to Lower Hutt. Madame Betts-Vincent, A.R.A.M., left Wellington on Monday evening, to fulfil musical engagements in Christchurch. Among recent guests at the Hermitage, Mount Cook, were: Mr. and Mrs. Theobald, Miss E. Stephens, Mr. and Mrs. N. Bellringer. Miss H. Dunning, Wellington. Mrs. A. M. Thomson, Wadestown, accompanied by her little daughter and son, is staying at Mohaka, Gisborne, with her sister, Mrs. J. RMurphy. Miss Margaret Myers, Wesley Road, and Miss Peggy James, Masterton, leave this evening for Christchurch, where they will stay with Mrs. Cecil Wood.
