OVERSEAS LEAGUE

Activities in Wellington The annual meeting of the Overseas League was held last evening prior to the reception in the palm lounge of the Hotel St. George. Mr. Marcus Marks was in the chair. The report showed a remarkable development in the activities of the Wei- % lington branch during the year. The home organisation was stated to number over 250 members in the Wellington province, and the local membership to stand at 115. “We are the greatest Empire society in existence, and we must make pur branch in the Capital City the capital branch in the Dominion,” said the report.
