DEATH OF PRESIDENT
English Rugby Union News from England of Hie death at the age of 58 of Mr. W. S. Donne, for over 30 years a member of the committee of the Rugby Football Union (England), recalls the fact that he was the English Rugby Union's president at the time when the 192-1-25 New Zealand Rugby team was iu England. He had been closely associated with the Somerset County Rugby Union for many years, and was made a life member some 10 years ago. Mr. S. S. Dean, manager of the 192425 All Blacks, on being advised of the death of Mr. Donne, said that he was a great friend to the team, the members of whic-li came into touch witli him a good deal during tlie tour.
