He recalled some idyllic adventures of his youth, mentioning Graziella and Elvire, who had- inspired him. To the latter, Whom he dearly loved, we owe the magnificent and celebrated poem of “Le Lac” and most of his best verses. As a sequel to Alonsieur Bouillet’s interesting "causerie,” Aladame J. de Filippi recited ‘‘Le Lac. of' Lamartine. Both items were much appreciated. Mrs. Ginn then followed with some songs, artistically rendered, ’ which gave much pleasure to the audience. After an interval, ’devoted to social intercourse. Aladame O. R.
