Mornington Competitions A HOLE IN ONE In the Bowness Cup competition, a 36-holes bogey event, played on the Mornington links during the week-end, E. Finch and K. Young tied with cards of 1 down, and will play off next weekend. The next best cards were George Estall, 3 down ; J. .Futter, 4 down; N. Jacobi, 5 down; K. Stephen, and M. Hennessey, 6 down. Hodgins, congratulated members on having such a fine course so near at hand, and hoped that the people of Karori would show their appreciation of the fact that they were being provided with cheap golf by joining the club. Mr. W. I*. Walker, on behalf of the Westward Ho Golf Club, welcomed the advent of the dull. A Canadian foursome was ■played, and resulted in a win for C. J. Baker and A. J. Craighead.
