School Sport
Sir, —Why this absurd idea o c sending our schoolboys to Melbourne for the celebrations? I think the Dominion has got to the stage where it,,is getting too “swelled-headed.” We do nothing but look for glory on the. field of sport. I quite agree with the headmaster of King's College in all his statements, and I only hope that no boys from this Dominion will be taken away from their studies for two days’ sport in Australia. I suppose we will next hear that the Mothers’ Union has decided to send a representative baby team over to compete in any baby shows they may hold there, and. by the way, who pays fur all this? — I am. etc.. NOT A POT HUNTER. Palmerston North, May 4.
