Prince Henry and Sir J. Parr London, May 4. The Duke of Gloucester gave a long audience to Sir James Parr at the Palace. He expressed great Interest in New Zealand, keenly anticipating the pleasures of his visit. The Duke will be a guest at the New Zealand Society’s lunch on June 1. COLOURS PRESENTED (Received May 6, 7.15 p.m.) London. May 6. The Duke of Gloucester Hew from London to Manchester and presented new colours to the Tenth Battalion, Manchester Territorials. He recalled their hard-fought engagements in Egypt, Gallipoli and France. ANNIVERSARY of ACCESSION (Received March 6, 7.15 p.m.) London, May 5. Their Majesties to-morrow will celebrate the twenty-fourth anniversary of their accession to the throne. They will spend the day quietly at Windsor Castle, attending Divine Service in the morning.
