♦ — FIRE AT LOWER HUTT Brigade Makes Good Save Occupied for only, two months, a house owned by Mr. W. S. Higgs Junction Street, Lower Hutt, was slightly damaged by fire about mid-day on Saturday. The Lower Hutt lire Brigade was summoned, and made a good save. . Efforts to discover the seat or the outbreak necessitated the removal of a partition by the kitchen chimney, and the bedroom, at the rear suffered.
