People in Marton are able to keep their clocks right by the Wellington Post Office. clock. In that town, at the rear of the White Hart Hotel, there is a motor garage that was formerly a stable. From its louvred roof tlie hours are tolled out by means of a loudspeaker wit)i megaphone attachment, which tells half Marton the time as radioed front Wellington. Why worry about local town clocks when radio can so simply supply all that is necessary?
