YESTERDAY’S WEATHER
Mild Conditions in Wellington
All bough yesterday was dull, the weather at Wellington was mild and pleasant, with a light northerly wind prevailing. Tne temperature at 4 p.m. was 60.7 degrees, and the maximum for the day, 65.0 degrees. Fine and warm, but somewhat hazy conditions prevailed at Masterton. There was a total absence of wind. Fine weather with a hazy sky prevailed in Palmerston North. There was no wind. A warm cloudy day was experienced in Wanganui. There were occasional periods of bright sunshine and conditions were very calm. Fine weather and a light north-east wind again prevailed at Auckland. The weather at Christchurch was dull but pleasant. The morning was brighter than the afternoon. A light northerly wind prevailed. The weather at Dunedin was cloudy but mild and line. A light northeasterly breeze blew throughout the day.
