Mr. A. D. Park. Secretary to the 'treasury, returned to ’Wellington from Auckland by the Limited express on Saturday morning. Mr. lan Graham, of the head office staff of the Justice Department, Wellington. lias been transferred to Ute Napier Magistrate’s Court. He will leave this morning to take up his new iduties. Lieut. J. T. Lean. K.N., lias been appointed to 11.M.5. Philomel, vice Lieutemint-Comnui tider I’. A. Perry, R.N. Lieutenant Lean is due for promotion to Lieutenant-Commander in May. He will sail for New Zealand by the Mntarou on April 20. Mr. Leslie Lefenux, Governor of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, arrived at ’Wellington from Auckland b.v the Limited express on Saturday morning. Later in the morning lie called on the Minister of Finance. Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates, and in the afternoon accompanied him to the Wellington Racing Club's autumn meeting at Trentham.
