NEW REPERTORY PLAY
The production of “Many Waters., the Wellington Repertory Theatre Society s first play for 1934, is in the competent hands of Mr. Leo du Chateau, who was the society’s first producer. Many weeks of careful work have gone into rehearsals, and a polished performance is certain. The play itself is far away from the beaten track, and is likely to startle Wellington theatregoers by its realism. It is a tribute to the training work done by the society that the large cast of thirty-five has been assembled without difficulty. Among the players may bn mentioned: Mary MacKenzie (nee Cooley). Norman Burne. Ngaire Horton. Victor Lloyd. N. IT. Hannah. G. H. A. Swann. Pauline Shotlander. George Cooper. J. B. Yaldwvn. Hugh Herd, F. H. Doiin, W. T. Rollings. H. A. Painter, mid Mrs G. H. A. Swann. The performance will take place at the Concert Chamber, commencing on Wednesday next.
