Events at Taihape Dominion Special Service. TaiJiapo, March 17. The annual St. Patrick’s sports and rodeo were held in fine weather to-day before a record attendance of the public. The rodeo for the “North Island Rough Riding Championship” was a great draw and some good performances were witnessed. In the track events, Wanganui competitors were to the fore. J. Wade won the mile and a half invitation cycle race in convincing fashion. Gate takings amounted to £94/7/6. Following are the results:— Track Events. 75yds. Handicap: First heat: F.
