Australia v. Tasmania CENTURY TO WOODFULL (Received March 16, 11.40 p.m.) Hobart, March 16. The match Australia versus Tasmania was continued to-day at Hobart in greatly improved weather and with an attendance of over 5000. Tasmania, with seven down for 230, resumed batting on a good wicket and furnished a pleasant surprise through James and Parry, both of whom batted brilliantly,- notably- James, who scored 70 in 55. minutes. The ninth Wicket added 77 in 34 minutes. James hit eight fours. Parry revealed a surprisingly good array of strokes and was unconquered for 30. The innings realised 338, made in 312 minutes. Australia made a good start with Woodfull and Brown, who put on 200 In 142 minutes. Woodfull reached his century, then began to hit, and was stumped for 124, made in 150 minutes, including one six and four fours. Brown went for 98, made in’l63 minutes. He hit six fours.
