INJURY TO FACE
Woman Awarded Damages Vancouver, March 7. A message from Hollywood says that Mrs. Valerie Von Stroheim has been awarded 125,000 dollars (£25,000) by a jury against a wealthy proprietor of a beauty parlour, Jim Simonello, for injuries to her face, sustained in an explosion in Simonello’s beauty parlour Mrs. Stroheim, who is the wife of a famous cinema director, will have to undergo several painful operations to repair her maimed features.
