Ministerial. The Hon. R. Masters, Minister of Industries and Commerce, left Wellington for Stratford last evening. Mr. W. L. Power, of Christchurch, is on a holiday visit to Wellington. Mr. A. A. Paape, of Dunedin, is visiting Wellington. Mr. D. Ardell, of the Department Internal Affairs, is visiting Auckland. Mr P H. N. Freeth, editor of the Christchurch “Press,” is visiting Wellington. Mr. Allan Evans has been placed in charge of the land department in the Hawera branch of the' Farmers’ Cooperative Organisation Society. Mr. P. V. C. R. Mills, of Wellington has been admitted to associate membership of the Institution of Electrical Engineers. Mr. J. W. F. Welch, of Wellington, has been admitted to associate membership of the Institution of Electrical Engineers. Mr T. E. James, New Zealand representative of the Distillers Agency Ltd., has left Auckland for Sydney and Melbourne. Mr. David W. Madden, of Wellington lias been elected president of the National Council of the Licensed Trade of New Zealand, in succession to the late Sir Alfred Bankart, 0.8. E. M. Armand Nihotte, Consul for Belgium in New Zealand, accompanied by Madame Nihotte, and family, will leave on a holiday visit to Belgium by the Rangitane on April 13. They expect to return to Wellington at the end of the year.
