Mystery To Scientists

A baffling personality whose uncanny powers of clairvoyance have amazed people in almost every European, country has just been subjected to a series of exhaustive tests in London. He is Fred Marion, whose ability to read the past and see into the future has earned him the name of “the human bloodhound.” So unerring are his subjects that the police of Germany and other Continental countries have used his powers to solve cases which have completely baffled them.. “When I was only six or seven years old,” he told a “Sunday Chronicle" representative “people began to notice that I had an uncanny knack of describing confidently events which had not yet happened. "Once I foretold that a dancer would not carry out a certain engagement in three days’ time. Before those three days had elapsed she died.”

Marion showed a copy of a statement signed by the chief of police in Amsterdam which told an astounding story.

Several articles belonging to a man who disappeared were handed to Marion.

With only these objects to assist him he not only gave a detailed description of the missing man, but stated definitely that he had committed suicide by drowning. “I have no explanation to offer for these things,” said Marion. “The moment I am given anything belonging to a certain personality I can almost see the events connected with them in my mind’s eye.” Not only psychical experts, but doctors, hard-headed professional men and even an official of the Home Office have devised tests with which they hoped to baffle him. Without exception they have failed.
