Wellington Society’s Event The second young bird flock race of the Wellington Homing. Pigeon Society was flown from Hunterville (101 miles airline). A total of 97 birds, representing 14 lofts, were liberated by Mr. R. E. Shaw in dull weather, against a hard southerly wind, and the birds had a hard race. The winner, Mr. Haines, is a new member of the club, this being his first success. The following are the first eight birds timed in:—Mr. C. Haines’s Debutante. 3hr. Imin. 42sec., 1; Messrs.
