You can read in comfort. Choose shades for reading lamps with the greatest care, that your eyes may not be unduly tried'. A hall presents a cosy welcoming appearance. Many householders light their halls like railway stations, instead of like friendly reception rooms. Help the furniture to look its best Indeed, it is downright cruelty to let pastel shades in decorations be ruined by strong lights.
