The residents of Seatoun and Scorching Bav are complaining ag-iinst the disfiguration of the foreshore between the two bays by unsightly advertising hoardings. * In a number of eases indignant residepts recently pulled some of the posters down. A resident of Seatoun, who holds that Wellington’s beautiful foreshore is one o 4 ' the city’s greatest charms, declared yesterday that the erection of these posters was against the regulations, and that the City Council should take prompt action in the matter.
