ST. JOSEPH’S ORPHANAGE

The reverend mother and sisters of St. Joseph’s Orphanagfi, Upper Hutt, desire to most gratefully tluiuk Mr. W. R. Kennedy and his zealous committee for the very enjoyable outing to Rona Bay provided annually for the staff and inmates. Despite the difficulties of the times it was quite up to the standard of excellence of former years, and nothing was left undone to make it a day of real happiness. To Airs. Maeanthy-Iloid their grateful thanks are extended for the delicious luncheon which she, as usual, provided for the sisters. They also desire to express their gratitude to the car owners and drivers who so generously gave their time and services in transporting the children to and from the bay, and to Air. Charlie Lansdowne for his thoughtful and kindly efforts to supply bathing “togs” for the children.
