Badge for Representatives
The chairman of the Wellington Provincial Yacht and Motor-boat Association (Captain W. J. Keane) reported to a meeting of that body last night that a monogram badge for representatives to wear had been designed and approximate quotations received, ff.be badge is to be registered and past representatives are to be allowed to wear it if they receive the association’s permission. A sub-committee was appointed to investigate designs and costs of a blazer for representatives. An Anniversary Day regatta programme on the lines of previous ones was adopted. A request from the Otago Yachting Association for the loan of two boats for use in the 12ft. 61n. Z-class championship races at Dunedin is to be brought before clubs. The association decided that the races for the inter-club cup, Tanranga cup, and Duncan cup next year be sailed in Evans Bay.
