The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company has received a wireless message from its liner Akaroa, which left Auckland on December 13 for Southampton aud London, via the Panama Canal, feporiing that she is experiencing fine weather and that all are well on board. Scales Ltd.’s chartered motor-ship Anglo-Canadian l<s now en - route from the Tyne in ballast to Sydney or Melbourne, where she will load a nart cargo of wheat before coming to New Zealand to load wool during February for Dunkirk, London and Hull. TANKER STOKANGER CHARTERED. The Uniou Company advises that they have chartered the Norwegian tanker Storanger to carry bulk fuel-oil from San Pedro to Wellington. The Storanger replaces the O. A. Knudsen, which Is now on her second to last trip under charter to the Union Company. Her final shipment will be brought to the Dominion in February next. The Storanger was built in 1030 bv the Glasgow firm of IL Duncan and Co. She Is of 0223 tons gross, and her length is 473 ft. She. Is expected to arrive at Wellington toward the end of January on her first trip. Advice has been received by the Federal Company that the Huntingdon, which left Liverpool on December 2, sailed from Caracus Bay last Saturday. She is due at Auckland about January 9, Wellington on January 13, and will then call at Lyttelton and Dunedin. KENT FOR WELLINGTON. In ballast from London, the New Zealand Shipping Company's Kent sailed from Caracus Bay last Friday, and is due at Wellington on January 12.
