FAMILY FRIGHTENED
Bull Charges Into House By Telegraph.—Press Association. Stratford, December 14. A bull from a mob which was being driven along the street charged through the open gate of Mr. M. E. Sharrock’s residence, and then through the house, giving Mrs. Sharrock and her three young children a severe fright. The children, aged two, three, and four years respectively, scrambled from the back door in panic when the bull appeared almost at their heels, and rushed to their mother, who was working in the kitchen. The animal lialted for a moment in the doorway, giving Mrs. Sharrock time to hurry the children into one of the front rooms. The bull followed, snorting and stamping, and the frightened occupants retreated into another room. Mrs. Sharrock turned to the open window, lifted the children to the ground, and then climbed out herself. The animal was possibly more bewildered than savage, and submitted to a drover, who managed to take his charge safely out of doors. Meanwhile the shaken family had taken refuge with a neighbour.
