NURSES IN TROUSERS
Two nurses of the Leicester Royal Infirmary have raised a storm by Insisting on the right to 'year, grey flannel trousers in their spare time, writes a, correspondent from London. •They wore them in the Street? —and were cautioned by the matron. They wore them . again and , were ’asked to resign.
Now the governors of the infirmary are at loggerheads'.. Some, feel that while off duty nurses can wear what they .like. Others are certain that nurses’who wear trousers are, not-fit to be nurses at all I .
