Miss Moiya Ward, Tablelands, Martinborough, is visiting Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Caddick, Christchurch, will spend part of the holidays in Wellington. Mrs. J. B. Bradley, Feilding, is a visitor to Wellington for the BurneyFotheringbam wedding. Mrs. E. M. Herrick, Levin, came down for the prize-giving at Scots College on Wednesday.
Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Sellar and Miss M. Sellar, Lansdowne, Masterton, were recent visitors to Paraparaumu. Mrs. E. J. Bassett, Pownall Street, Masterton, was a recent visitor to Wellington.
Mrs. T. Brown, Waihi, Masterton, who has been visiting Wellington, has returned home.
Miss E. Pengelly has been elected president of the Wanganui branch of the Trained Nurses’ Association. > Mrs. P. J. Ryan is a Wellington visitor, to Wanganui for the Collegiate School break-up.
..Miss Pahlatua, who has been the guest of her aunt, Mrs. H. M. Gore, Hobson Crescent, has returned home. Mrs.-Morale and Miss P. Morale, New Plymouth, are staying with Mrs. Capel-Smith, Brougham Street. Miss Dorothy Goble, Cardiff, Taranaki, is spending the Christmas holi-days-with her sister, Mrs. F. Phillips, Wellington.
Mrs. H. B. Lethbridge and her small daughter are Otaki visitors to Wanganui, the guests of Mr.- and Mrs. W. Izard.'
Miss Lyon, who leaves Wanganui this week for Hawke’s Bay, was farewelled by Mrs. F. Nancarrow at an enjoyable evening party.
Mrs. L. Logan, Wellington, and her young daughter, Barbara, have gone to Wairoa, where they will be the. guests of. Mr. and Mrs. R. J., Grant. Mrs. Stella White, Wellington, has arrived in Christchurch, and is spending a few days with her sister, Mrs. Elwyn Jackson. Mr. and Mrs. Geprge Ellwood will leave this morning by the Rotorua for a year’s travelling in England and on the Continent.
Mrs. Leslie Macfarlane, Christchurch, who was a visitor to Wellington for the Richardson-Benson wedding,' returned south last night.
