TWO MEN IN HOSPITAL
Motor-Cyclists Injured
JERVOIS QUAY ACCIDENT
T\yo men received head injuries in it motor-cycle accident in Jervols Quay last evening, and are now In hospital. They are: Mr. Hugh Robert Johnson, motor mechanic, 512 Adelaide Road, and Mr. Ronald Janies McGregor, Puru Crescent, Lyall Bay. • Mr. McGregor was riding on the pillion of a motor-cycle ? driven by Mr. James Mowat, and they were travelling along Jervols Quay in a southerly direction, when the exjiaust pipe became loosened. They stopped, and Mr. McGregor set to work to refasten the pipe. While he was thus engaged another motor-cycle,. driven by Mr. Johnson, also going southward, stuck him from the rear, its rider being flung from his mount.
Both were attended by Dr. ’Corkill. and were then taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance. Mr. Johnson’s condition is serious.
