Walt Disney and His Cartoons
QINCE the rumour spread that Walt Disney had decided not to continue making his Silly Symphonies in colour, the studio in Hollywood has been swamped with requests for the continuance of these cartoons from all parts of the world. Contrary to the popular belief that Disney was piling up a vast fortune out of the hire received for these ingenious cartoons, it is stated that the revenue received hardly compensates for the heavy cost of maintaining a stall of 125 artists and producing the cartoons in colour.
