CANCELLED TOUR
Golfers Sarazen & Kirkwood Sydney, December 13. The reason for the decision of the golfers Sarazen and Kirkwood to abandon their tour of Australia and New Zealand has not' been disclosed. The golfer Archie Keane, manager in Auckland for Sarazen and Kirkwood, thinks that the. opposition in Victoria to the tour may have influenced Kirkwood’s decision. The Victorians are particularly anxious to postpone the visit so tha’ it may synchronise with the centenary celebrations in November, 1934. It is even hinted that in event of an arrival in February the Victorian clubs may refuse to make their courses available.
