VICOMTE MISSING
Flight Across Channel SHIPS’ VAIN SEARCH (Received December 13, 9.55 p.m.) London, December 13.. Ships vainly searched the Channel throughout the night for Vicomte Charles Dema nnevllle, who left Croydon in a private aeroplane yesterday morning for Paris, where his wife is expecting a child. The vicomte is 30 years of age, and is a partner in an American banking firm. He is a son of Comte Demanneville, a prominent figure in the French diplomatic service.
