FINE WEATHER CONTINUES
Conditions in Wellington In Wellington yesterday the weather was rather cloudy in the morning, but for the most part it was again fine and warm. A northerly breeze prevailed, freshening somewhat during the afternoon. The temperatare at 4 p.m. was 69 degrees, the maximum temperature during the day being 71.6 degrees. The weather continued very hot in Auckland without indications of an early change. The wind was again a light northerly. The thermometer registered 80 degrees in the shade at midday.
Yesterday was fine in Christchurch, with considerable passing cloud. A light south-west wind was blowing in the morning, and a moderate easterly in. the afternoon. The maximum temperature was 70 degrees. Hot summer weather was again experienced in Dunedin, with passing cloud and sunshine. The maximum temperature at midday was 77 degrees. A light north-east wind was blowing.
