Meteorological Office, Wellington, Wednesday, December 13, 1933, at 4 p.m. , The anti-cyclone over New Zealand has commenced to move eastward, and a depression is now advancing across the Tasman Sea. Forecast: North-easterly to northerly winds, light to moderate, but gradually
increasing in force. Seas smooth'to moderate in New Zealand waters, but rising about Cook and
‘ Foveaux Straits. Moderate to strong northerly winds with moderate but rising seas in the eastern Tasman Sea. Weather still fair to fine and warm generally, but haze and cloud gradually increasing and rain setting in shortly in western districts and the far north and south.
