CASE DISMISSED
Eight Charges of Theft By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, December 12. The hearing of eight charges of theft of a total of £2l, the property of the Auckland Transport Board, was brought against Milton Luke Ashby, aged 31, in the Police Court. After hearing the evidence, the magistrate, Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., said “I don’t think I am justified in sending accused for trial, but this does not prevent the Crown from bringing charges again if further evidence is available. I want it to be understood I am not expressing any opinion whether he is guilty or not guilty. The case is dismissed.”
