DEFIANT O’DUFFY
Movements Shrouded in Mystery REPORT NOT CONFIRMED London, December 11. There is no confirmation of the Dublin rumour that a warrant has been issued for the arrest of General O’Duffy, but, as he is wearing a Blue Shirt, he is liable to arrest at any moment. He is not in Dublin, and his movements are shrouded in mystery. A Dublin message says that General O’Duffy secretly consulted his supporters in Dublin and departed in a closed car for a hiding place in the south of Ireland, to which only six persons are privy. He does not desire to be arrested, at least until he has perfected plans for the Blue Shirt campaign which it is understood will be continued. General O’Duffy may disclose his whereabouts on December 13, and defy the Government to arrest him.
