LIVE-STOCK DIVISION
New Director Appointed The appointment of Mr. W. C. Barry, M.R.C.V.S., as Director of the Livestock Division of the Department of Agriculture, to succeed Mr. J. Lyons. M.R.C.V.S., who has retired, has been announced. During his service with the department Mr. Barry has been stationed in Christchurch, Auckland and Wellington districts. He was appointed superintendent of the Auckland district in 1025, and in 1926 he was transferred to Wellington as district superintendent, which position he held until his recent appointment.
