Queensland and Victoria commenced a ’ Sheffield Shield cricket match today. Queensland, in the first innings, made 310 for tho loss of nine wickets (Brew 102, Allen 36, Andrews 30).
M.C.C. IN INDIA
Calcutta, November 30.
Playing against Western India, the M.C.C. eleven declared witli their overnight score of 254 for six wickets. Western Indiil (first innings 64) made 240 in their second (Gurtu 61). Verity took six wickets for S 3.
