Proposals for Reform COMMITTEE’S DECISION (Received December 1, 8.30 p.m.) London, December 1. An unofficial committee of both Houses, formed to consider reform of the House of Lords, decided that Lord Salisbury Introduce a Bill before the adjournment providing that the House of Lords consist of 300 members, of whom 150 shall be elected by the general body of hereditary peers, and 150 appointed by some method determined by the House of Commons.
