Yesterday’s Conditions
The weather in Wellington yesterday was cloudy throughout the day, with a cool, fresh, south-easterly wind. Light rain fell late in the afternoon. Tlie temperature at. 4 p.in. was 53 degrees, and the maximum for the day 56.7 degrees. A light southerly wind and changeable weather prevailed in Auckland, dull, cloudy conditions during the morning being followed by heavy showers in the afternoon and evening. The weather was flue in Christchurch with sunshine and passing cloud. A moderate easterly wind whs blowing in the afternoon.
A light south-west breeze and fine but cloudy weather prevailed in Dunedin, the temperature being pleasantly warm. -
