Further Daylight Saving Palmerston North. December 1. The possibility of an extension of daylight saving was discussed at yesterday s meeting of the executive. of the Manawatu and West Coast Dairy Companies' Association, when it was decided to send a letter of protest to the Minister of Agriculture and to Messrs. J. A. Nash, M.P., J. Linklater. M.P., W. H. Field. M.P., and the Hon. J. G. Cobbe. Mr. S. A. Broadbelt was re-elected chairman of the association. In returning thanks for his election, he said that 27 factories were represented, and the membership of the association was increasing. Cheese and butter committees were set up to consider matters affecting the interests of these products. They will submit their recommendations to the executive.
