NOTICE of Respective Proportions of Rates which the above Board proposes to appoint and to impose upon ‘ the several classes of classified, lauds within the above Board’s District. THE SOUTH WAIRARAPA RIVER BOARD hereby GIVES NOTICE that pursuant to the provisions of “The South Wairarapa River Board Empowering Act, 1931,” “The River Boards Act, 1908,” and its amendments, and any other power or authority it enabling in that behalf, the said Board proposes to appoint that for the period from April 1, 1933, to March 31, 1934, a General Rate in the following proportions be imposed upon the several classes of land within the said Board’s "strict, as classified by Ernest Percy l'i.,vler, and upheld by the Stipendiary Magistrate sitting at Featherston in bis decision dated October 30, 1933, viz.:—A General Rate of eighteen pence per acre upon all lands classified as “A,” a General Rate of twelve pence per acre upon all lands classified as “B,” a General Rate of sixpence per acre upon all lands classified as “C,” and that no rate be imposed upon those lands within the said district which are classified as “D” (being lands which have not received and are not likely to receive any benefit from the expenditure in respect of which the said rate is made). Any person who wishes to object ro such proposed proportions may send uis or her objections in writing to the said Board at its office.
