CHRISTENING PARTY
Pro-Cathedral Ceremony
At St. Paul’s Pro-Cathedral yesterday morning the small daughter of the Bishop of Polynesia and Mrs. Kempthorne was christened by Canon Percival James, those present at the ceremony being Jlr. Kempthorne and the Misses Kempthorne (2), Auckland ; Jlr. and Mrs. R. C. Tennent, Woodville; Dr. and Jfrs. Alan Tennent, Mrs. Percival James, Captain and Jlrs. Olphert, Mr. E. F. Hadfield, Jlrs. Peate, with her small son, and Miss Ernestine Hadfield.
Bishop and Jlrs. Kempthorne. who entertained a party of friends at lunch at the Hotel St. George afterward, left by the Limited in the evening en route to Suva, Fiji.
