TYPHOID OUTBREAK
Twenty Maoris Affected CASES NEAR TAKAKA By Telegraph.—Press Association. Nelson, October 15. Twenty cases of typhoid are reported among Maoris at Puramahoi, in the Takaka district. It is understood that infection arose from a tangi held a mouth ago, Maoris being present from all parts of New Zealand. Every effort Is being made to tract contacts. Only one European is affected.
