THEFT ALLEGED
Christchurch Charge ,

The theft of a quantity of iron between February, 11)30, and September, 11)33, valued at £855, the property of John Lysaght, Ltd., was a charge this morning preferred against James Baden Hamilton Pett, a storeman, aged 33. The chief detective said that Pett was arrested yesterday on information that was subject to amendment, but the amount Involved would probably reach four figures. The accused was remanded till October 17.
